I had always managed severe period pain with contraceptive pills and painkillers, but read that changing my diet could help instead. I was overwhelmed by the information online so wanted professional advice. Caroline took the time to understand my particular circumstances, and accounted for my preferences in her recommendations. She helped me get the most out of my GP appointment, (e.g. interpreting my blood test results more thoroughly). Caroline suggested manageable changes, not just what I eat, but the way I eat, which I was able to build into my routine, see the positive benefits, and then feel empowered to make further incremental changes. The accompanying app was a useful way to store relevant information (advice, recipes etc) and track my progress. Caroline's gentle encouragement and wide variety of techniques helped me stick to my goals, and after 4 months I have so far had 2 periods with much less pain!
However, I would say the biggest unexpected benefit has actually been an improvement of my mental health - by slowing down my busy lifestyle enough to make time for preparing healthier meals, I feel so much happier throughout the month, not just on my period! I'm really glad I made this investment to learn about my body - I would not have made progress so quickly or easily without Caroline's help.
